2. Pay your Gym Membership

When joining any Glasgow University sports club, you must also join the gym. This is for insurance purposes. A gym membership costs £132, but if you are a first year paying for university accommodation your membership is fully inlcuded as you get a free gym membership. It is vital that everyone pays their gym membership fee, because GUT gets charged for every member who has not registered with the gym.

To pay your gym membership, visit the Reception Desk in the Stevenson Building (the gym).

In becoming a member of the gym, you are entitled to the following:

  • Unlimited use of the Stevenson swimming pool, as well as sauan and steam rooms.

  • Unlimited use of the Stevenson cardio and strength facilities.
